★ ★ ★ ★ ★ sulphur spa and motorhome stop, different stop , relaxed in the sulphur pool for half an hour (only 6 euros), motorhome stop right next to the lake , the dogs loved it , great for walks

- you can’t visit the outdoor area
- you can only visit a dirty indoor area with no views of the outside
- water is lukewarm
- no private showers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning beaches and local food, if ever in Crete, a must to visit. Loutro is only accessible by boat and and they run from Sfakia. The boat ride is only about 20 min. There are beautiful walking trails and and an old castle to visit. No cars and motorbikes...only beach and relaxation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It seems that the facility this permanently closed. However, people still climb the fence and get in the source pool in the cave. The water is not very hot and does not look very inviting. There is a lot of scum floating on the surface. It is an interesting stop though. Across the street the opaque creek water flows and is filled with curious turtles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is such a pity that one of the most famous places like this in Greece, is so much desserted and abandoned. Its like entering another (way past) century. Could be a screening for a horror movie, old mental house. The lake though, is beautiful and the employees were very friendly and helful.
