★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the hidden fish taverns / restaurants of the city ...I am highly recommend it ...the exterior presentation of the building has nothing to do with the way they cook fish and all sea food ..it's a truly amazing dining ...closed on Sunday evening ..it's a treat

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical yet fresh and delicious sea food. This is why you do not find always the same fish. Great traditional fish soup called "cacavia" (the name of the tavern). Great steamed veggies. Generic decoration that travels you back at simpler times. Ten minutes walk to the sea via SNF Cultural Center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must visit place if you like fish soup. Old traditional Greek taverna with excellent fish soup. Interior not so cozy but the food will pay you back. The grilled fish and the wine were great too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent neighborhood fish restaurant. The fish soup, for which it’s named is a wonderful representation but there is so much more from homemade taramosalata to fresh and delicious fish grilled or fried. The house wine is excellent and the whole experience is a great value.
