★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interresting well preserved old railwaystation in the middle of the city. It is an open museum inside the city park where you can drink a juice and learn about the history of trains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good job utilizing the free space for a park and use the theme of the railway station. A lot of steam and diesel driven engines with wagons and access some of them. The description plates with the information of each engines is gone and this was a pity. Also the caffee place was closed. Overall a of the nice places that Kalamata town has to offer with a lot of trees and green to visit and enjoy by foot or bicycle.

You could get on most of the engines that took us back in time to when we where young children.
The gardens and play areas where a pleasure to walk through
We have walked around the park a few times now very pleasant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice playground for kids but it's not a real rail museum as mentioned on some of the sites. There is no description or ibformation on what you see. Just a few locomotives and wagons. Still nice photo material.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice, well kept, clean and full of old train!! Lovely place for a free afternoon with Childer or friends. A caffetteria is in the park also.
