O	Onoufrios Dovletis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best museums of Greece for sure, giving visitors an overview of the Greek history, so it's not just an Archaeological Museum! I've read comments about the museum being a labyrinth; it is. In one room the curators practically recreated the geography of the region of Messinia, and that's why it might seem confusing. It might not be the best decision but it's something very innovative and interesting. Definitely worth visiting!

Host's findings from the surrounding area from Mycenae times till the Byzantium and the Francish occupation of Peloponnesos. There are some nice mosaics and some nice byzantine column capitals. But the museum is rather small and the exhibits are the kind of objects you will find in any museum in greece. It's at the centre if the city and at a small distance from the bus station. So if you are passing by you can visit
