 About 30cm below the fine gravel is sand. In case anyone needs sand to build ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Отличный песочный пляж. Чистый золотистый песок. Нет никакого мусора. Красивые виды. Из минусов: многолюдно и сразу начинается глубина. С маленькими детьми не очень удобно. Вдоль пляжа проходит набережная со всевозможными питейными заведениями. Припарковаться у пляжа на набережной в целом не проблема. За чистоту песка, мягкость захода в воду, а также великолепные пейзажи я бы включил данное место в топ 5 пляжей Ситонии.
Great sandy beach. Pure golden sand. There is no rubbish. Beautiful views. Of the minuses: crowded and immediately begins the depth. With small children is not very convenient. Along the beach is a promenade with all kinds of pubs. Parking at the beach on the waterfront as a whole is not a problem. For the purity of the sand, the softness of entry into the water, as well as the magnificent scenery, I would include this place in the top 5 beaches of Sithonia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το Καλαμίτσι είναι οικισμός και παραλία (εκτασης περιπου 15.000 τ.μ.), βρίσκεται στη Σιθωνία Χαλκιδικής και ανήκει στον δήμο Σιθωνίας. Στο Καλαμίτσι ζουν μόνιμοι κάτοικοι ενώ το καλοκαίρι το επισκέπτονται πάρα πολλοί τουρίστες λόγω της πεντακάθαρης θάλασσάς του. Βρίσκεται 6 χιλιόμετρα από τη Συκιά Χαλκιδικής και απέχει 150 περίπου χιλιόμετρα από τη Θεσσαλονίκη. Η παραλία φέρεται στον τύπο ενταγμένη στο χαρτοφυλάκιο του ΤΑΙΠΕΔ και προωθείται προς πώληση από την ελληνική κυβέρνηση.
Kalamitsi is a settlement and beach (area of about 15,000 sq.m.), located in Sithonia, Halkidiki and belongs to the municipality of Sithonia. In Kalamitsi live permanent residents while in summer it is visited by many tourists due to its crystal clear sea. It is located 6 km from Sykia, Halkidiki and is about 150 km from Thessaloniki. The beach is listed in the press in the HRDH portfolio and is promoted for sale by the Greek government.
