★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το Καλογερικό της Θάσου είναι ένα διώροφο κτήριο του 19ου αιώνα και βρίσκεται στον Λιμένα, την πρωτεύουσα του νησιού. Η ονομασία του προέκυψε από τη λαϊκή παράδοση, καθώς όταν ιδρύθηκε επρόκειτο για μετόχι της Μονής Βατοπεδίου του Αγίου Όρους, ενώ σήμερα ανήκει στον δήμο Θάσου και αξιολογείται ως ένα από τα σπουδαιότερα αξιοθέατα του νησιού, με παράλληλη πλούσια παρουσία στα πολιτιστικά δρώμενα.
Το κτίριο του Καλογερικού αποτελείται από πέτρα και ξύλο και θεωρείται εξαίσιο δείγμα αρχιτεκτονικής θρακομακεδονικού τύπου. Η ξύλινη στέγη του ορθογώνιου οικοδομήματος είναι καλυμμένη με σχιστόπλακες, ενώ χαρακτηριστικότατες στην εικόνα του Καλογερικού είναι οι πέτρινες, ψηλές του καμινάδες. Οι μεγάλες του δίφυλλες πόρτες, αλλά και η επιβλητική, εσωτερική σκάλα που οδηγεί στον όροφο, είναι επίσης σπουδαία δείγματα της αρχιτεκτονικής του αξίας.
Στο Καλογερικό οι επισκέπτες έχουν την δυνατότητα να περιηγηθούν σε μια αναπαράσταση παραδοσιακού θασίτικου σπιτιού στον όροφο, όπου βλέπει κανείς τον οντά με το μιντέρι, έναν καναπέ με στρώμα κατά μήκος του δωματίου, τις κάμαρες με τζάκι, μουσάντρα και παράθυρα χωρίς παντζούρια, αλλά και διάφορα σκεύη, ρούχα, κεντήματα, εργόχειρα κ.ά., με πιο ξεχωριστό έκθεμα «το σκαμνί της γέννας», που χρησιμοποιούσαν παλιά στα σπίτια. Στο ισόγειο του Καλογερικού φιλοξενούνται σήμερα διαλέξεις και άλλες πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις, υπό την αιγίδα του δήμου.

 Kalogeriko of Thassos is a two-storey building of the 19th century and is located in Limenas, the capital of the island. Its name originated from popular tradition, as when it was founded it was a part of the Vatopedi Monastery of Mount Athos, while today it belongs to the municipality of Thassos and is considered one of the most important attractions of the island, with a rich presence in cultural events.
The building of Kalogerikos consists of stone and wood and is considered an excellent example of Thracian-Macedonian type architecture. The wooden roof of the rectangular building is covered with slate, while very characteristic in the image of Kalogerikos are the stone, high chimneys. Its large double doors, as well as the imposing, internal staircase leading to the floor, are also great examples of its architectural value.
In Kalogeriko, visitors have the opportunity to tour a representation of a traditional Thassian house on the first floor, where one can see the creature with the meder, a sofa with a mattress along the room, arches with fireplace, musandra and windows without shutters, utensils, clothes, embroidery, handicrafts, etc., with a more special exhibit "the stool of childbirth", which were used in the past in the houses. The ground floor of Kalogeriko hosts today lectures and other cultural events, under the auspices of the municipality.
