So we spent a weekend on a boat with a couple of friends and it was absolutely amazing! Discovering Greece from a boat is such a fantastic idea!
The captain Kamarotakis (Καμαρωτακις) is very experienced and has a great sense of humour, which certainly added to the fun! Also, his daughter Marianna, kept us company as well as showed off her tricks when we stopped for dive?? she's very athletic and available for training sessions, personal training and yoga on board.
The boat is much more spacious that you could expect, with 5 cosy cabins, each on suite and a kitchen/dinning area. All 8 of us eat our lunch at the table inside! Easy.
Of course you can also have your meal outside on top (we had drinks...)
Our lunch was light and fresh, with a couple of bits fetched for us from a local tavern by the captain. The views were stunning throughout, including Sounio temple ruins and the sunset at the end of the day (see photos).
Our trip started in Lavrio port, but I believe there is some flexibility. Also in terms of duration of the trips and destination! Just pick up the phone and speak with captain Kamarotakis, you will not be disappointed! ?
