★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Below average. They try to make it seem luxurious in the photos, but it really isn't. Inside the room there was an occasional smell. The shower had no curtain or glass and as a result the bathroom was full of water after a shower. There were cables floating around inside the room and in general it felt unfinished, like they ran out of money during construction. The owner was rude as if he was making us a favor to be staying there. The only things I enjoyed was the location and breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This incredible castle-hotel is the prime example of pure Mani immersion that you were asking for. It's located at the centre of the cultural heritage of Mani, this is the real deal. If you want Mani, you go to Kamares Villas and you open the hidden bottles of Mani' scents, myths and customs, all given within Kamares Villas. What a place, I want to go back again and again, every time I think of it, my rocky tough side with the poems and the wars unravels and thrills me to my core. Kamares Villas=Mani experience
