★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Could not do enough for you. Stunning scenery, beautiful big rooms, spotlessly clean, gorgeous food, breathtaking beach 20 steps past the pool bar. Heaven. Paradise. Warm friendly syaff and host and hostess made this a truly memorable experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I totally recommand this beautiful hotel located 2 minutes by car from the centre of Gytheio. The building is gorgeous all in stones, the bedrooms are very Nice and cosy. The hotel is generally very clean and well maintained. The staff is very welcoming and caring. The breakfast was good, some product were home made.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castillo Antico Hotel is a slice of paradise.
Just out of town past the camping sites, the stone walled hotel is set amongst idyllic olive groves, lavender, and roses.
The relaxing swimming pool and beautiful bar and beach area are simply stunning.
The staff are so friendly, providing exemplary service, keen to please and speak excellent English, opposed to my poor Greek.
The meals are five star, as is the accommodation.
I cannot recommend this jewel high enough.

I could go on and on - we extended our stay because we just did not want to leave. Everything is top notch and amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 2nd recent visit to this hotel, a few minutes drive from Gythio, confirmed what I felt on my 1st visit in 2017! ????
The simply built unadorned and minimalistic stone towers of the Castello Antico hotel village reflect the traditional architectural style of Mani ... that I really like! ??
However what I liked even more is the hotel's location ... right on the seafront of a 5km sandy beach ...and only a few steps away from a delightfully refreshing swim in the sparkling clean blue sea! ?
The hotel staff told me that the Mavrovouni beach, also known to be one of the preferred environments of the endangered caretta-caretta turtles to lay their eggs, can be quite lively in the main summer holiday season but thanks to its size it's never overcrowded ... & perfect for a long seafront stroll ... any time of the day! ??
I'm definitely going back on my next visit to the region as apart from the beach, the small but great pool & hotel's rooms & service ... the breakfast was tops and the drinks at the pool too???!
See you soon again ? ... sooner than later!
