★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite spot in Kavala. It may not look like a Micheline star restaurant but Spiros, the chef and the owner, certainly is. Best fresh fish in town. Don't ask for a menu. Spyros will tell you what he liked in the morning on the market and bought from the fishermen. Traditional Greek psarotaverna. I would say in rebetiko style although I am not expert in Greek music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite fish restaurant in Kavala. It doesn't look like much from outside, but it has a character, atmosphere and the best chef - owner. Do not ask for menu. This is not a supermarket for general public. Ask what is today in the kitchen. Spyros goes every morning to buy fresh and gets what is good. My favourite is his cooked small sharks. Whatever I tried here, was great. On the photo you can see the sharks in the casserole and fried koutsomoura
