Off the beaten track relaxed little Greek restaurant. We were recommended here by our Greek hotel staff so thought it must be worth a visit and we weren’t disappointed. The food was incredible nice big portions. The zucchini fritters were incredible and the Moussaka was the BEST I have ever tasted it was freshly made as the waiter told us it would take 45 mins to make. Then finally to top it all off we got a free dessert. The service was excellent - the owner was lovely and really reasonable prices. Would recommend a visit.

Stumbled upon this place upon seeing the inviting fairy lights oustide, while wandering around searching for food. The atmosphere are people were great, and the food was delicious! The owners were super nice and welcoming for our first dinner in Athens.

Best food we found in Athens. Ended up eating there all 3 days there. The place was marvelous. Andreas (host) was super friendly and interesting. Try, you will not regret it! ?

We purchased The Entertainer app for Athens before arriving at Greece. This app offers users buy one free one offers on main courses determined by the restaurant, and one of the restaurants listed is Kappari. We came to Kappari after visiting Areopagus. It's just about 400m away using one of the path coming down from Areopagus. The interior looks very nice, and even has a fireplace. Kiki recommended to us "Mixed salad with haloumi, pine, crouton, balsamic syrup & sesame" and "Risotto with mushroom variety, parmesan cheese, truffle oil and arugula (rocket)". Both recommendations are very good, we enjoyed the meal very much. Particularly the risotto, it was excellent. We wished it would never finish! At the end of the meal, a dessert of ice cream with chocolate cake was served on the house. Bread and mineral water were provided complimentary too. As we were using The Entertainer, we only had to pay for the risotto, which was the more expensive of the two items we ordered, so this excellent meal only cost us 10 Euro. Unbelievable value for money. Highly recommended, even more so if you are using The Entertainer Athens. Just follow Kiki's recommendation and you will be in for a treat.

Wonderful food with vegetarian options! Don’t be fooled by the seemingly simple menu- the dishes is thoughtfully prepared, cooked wonderfully and served by kind staff. The melon salad was surprisingly delicious - they had a lot of interesting salad options. The Manouri cheese was fried lightly and drizzled with rich, floral honey and sesame seeds. My partner got a chicken leg portion with rice- he said it was cooked incredibly well (very moist and tender).

Good food, and a total step up from the touristy places near by. We saw no other tourists the whole time we were here, and happy with our meal. Only a little bit off of the beaten track on nice a quiet street with a very nice outdoor area. Also, the risotto with pork tenderloin was amazing!
