P	Peter Orfankos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is hands down one of our favorite restaurants in the center of Athens. The food and service has always been outstanding (last visit January 2022). The selections of wines are also real good. I can highly recommend them for a good meal out, if you’re visiting in summer try to book a table in advance (especially if it’s on the weekend).
A	Amy Langley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious, authentic and friendly - this place is the best Greek food I’ve had so far (and I’ve been hunting all over Athens for it). The menu has a large range of traditional appetisers, salads, seafood and main dishes - they are known for their cured meats but there are also vegetarian options. The wine selection includes rare Greek varieties and even biodynamic wines by the glass and/or bottle. All of the food came out quickly and was excellent. 10/10 recommend.

We ordered four dishes - can’t quite remember the names but the pictures are below - and out of the four, one was superb and the other three was decent. Service was quick, though somewhat impersonal - understandable given the large volume of diners here. That said, they did accommodate two unannounced guests for us (we booked a table for two but ended up being a group of four), for which we were very appreciative. The decor was charming amidst a very noisy ambiance. Overall, it was a perfectly nice place for dinner, but that was about it. We just didn’t find too much that was special about this place that warranted the rave reviews.

The service was very friendly and the food came quickly. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone visiting Athens!

In the pictures you can see the "Traditional Greek Salad" (8€) and the "Baklava" (5.50€, dessert). We also had the "Kavourmas" (8.50€) and it was a great choice. We went there at around 17h so there was a seat available but from what I gathered from the reviews this is usually pretty packed.

We were lucky we got there a little early and were able to talk the staff into letting us have a table without a reservation. They gave a free dessert of Greek yogurt with candied carrots and it’s literally the best thing ever!!
