ωραίο τοπίο στην περιοχή .
 In my opinion the best border station to Turkey if you are on a motorcycle ... quite fast and with relatively little traffic ...
nice landscape in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Αφήσαμε το αυτοκίνητο στις Καστανιές και περάσαμε με τα πόδια τα σύνορα. Ήταν πολύ όμορφη εμπειρία να περπατάς και να βλέπεις να αλλάζουν οι σημαίες και να βρίσκεσαι σε άλλη χώρα. Αυτό που παρατηρήσαμε, μας στενοχώρησε και δεν τιμά την χώρα μας , είναι πόσο πιο όμορφα και περιποιημένα ήταν από την μεριά της Τουρκίας. Αφού περάσαμε τον έλεγχο πήραμε ένα taxi και πήγαμε στην Ανδριανούπολη.
We left the car in Kastanies and crossed the border on foot. It was a very beautiful experience to walk and see the flags change and to be in another country. What we noticed, upset us and does not honor our country, is how much more beautiful and well-groomed it was from the Turkish side. After passing the check we took a taxi and went to Andrianoupolis.
