★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Δυστυχώς η ακρόπολις του κάστρου της αρχαίας Ελέας,ήταν κλειστή με λουκέτα παντού,διπλές σειρές συρματόπλεγμα,αν είναι δυνατόν,δεν υπήρχαν εκθέματα στην ύπαιθρο για να μπορέσει κάποιος να παρανομήσει,μόνο πέτρινοι βράχοι της ακρόπολης.Η πρόσβαση είναι ανηφορική με σχετικά καλό ασφαλτόδρομο,μετά την Παραμυθιά υπάρχει μια μόνο ταμπέλα.Διάφορα site γράφουν μεταξύ χωριού Χρυσαυγής που τώρα λέγεται Βέλλιανη και πηγές Αχέροντα και είναι λάθος.Αμέσως μετά την Βέλλιανη υπάρχει ανηφορικός δρόμος για τα αρχαία.Εντελώς τυχαία σε άλλο αξιοθέατο της περιοχής ,συναντήσαμε τον υπεύθυνο φύλακα των αρχαιοτήτων της περιοχής,πολύ ενημερωμένο και άκρως κατατοπιστικό,πως η είσοδος το καλοκαίρι ήταν 2 ευρώ και δεν πάτησε κανείς να δει τα αρχαία.??????Ελλάς το μεγαλείο σου.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The road to the site is steep, and sometimes very bad due to rain and snow. Site is closed, only open after the first of may and only on Saturday and Sunday from 830 until 1630.
