Super location. Super breakfast. Super clean and renovated rooms (really comfy mattresses and jacuzzi facility available!). Last but not least, the friendliest staff who always have a big smile and are always there to help you!

Amazing experience! The hotel is outstanding, clean, comfortable and not noisy. Very close to the centre (by foot). Breakfast is diverse and delicious. Absolutely recommended !

We have spent 4 awesome nights at the magnificent Kastro Hotel, a quiet, elegant and very quiet private complex just a few steps from the port and the small town center, family-run and masterfully managed by the sweet Christianna with whom we immediately bond. Kastro Hotel, 70 years ago was the island's kindergarten. Having gone into abandonment, it was purchased, restored with lots of love and passion according to the style and colors of the island and transformed into a welcoming traditional hotel, a small, very serene oasis where you can truly recharge your being. Every detail is taken care of with precision, everything in the right place, the staff, very attentive to preventive anti-covid measures, will pamper you at all times and you will feel at home throughout your stay, which will make your departure even more difficult! The swimming pool or the panoramic terrace, from which you can admire the sea, soon become our favorite spots… even more so in the evening, after sunset, when soft lights illuminate this little gem in Spetses! The lucullian breakfast deserves a separate mention. A huge choice of artisanal products of excellent quality and variety, from homemade jams and desserts, to different types of honey, from Greek omelettes to fresh fruit, biscuits, bruschetta, Greek yogurt with dried fruit and liters of excellent juice freshly squeezed orange juice, all in a relaxing and picturesque background. One of the best breakfasts ever! We really hope to come back there soon again!!!! Thanks Christianna for your wonderful welcome

100% the best hotel on the island. Incredible location, fantastic food, beautiful pool and extremely kind and friendly team running the show. When going to Spetses there is only one place to stay, Kastro!

This is my 6th stay at the Kastro Hotel. My family has been coming here anytime we visit Spetses for the last decade or so. Perfection would be the word to use to describe our time here. Lovely family who goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs. Christianna at reception always is there to help. Breakfast in the mornings is wonderful with homemade jams and cooked to order eggs. Property is as usual extremely well kept and beautiful. Rooms are updated and we'll appointed with great bedding. Perfect location for walking to the shops or beach. I cannot reccomend this Hotel enough.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and very spacious. They seem to have thought of everything you'll need and provided it for you. We traveled with our 2 year old and my husband had to "work from home" as well. This hotel got our needs perfectly. Good wifi and lots of things to suit our son's needs. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. The morning breakfast was wonderful! Home made jams, fresh eggs and bacon or sausage and more... Yum! Most of all, the staff was extremely kind and helpful. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. My parents were staying at a different hotel and spent their time with us ;). Will definitely be booking here on our next Spetses trip.

This is the best hotel on Spetses! Trust me i've been going for 20 years. Not a large property, which means you get personal care. Christiana is the best thing in life. She makes sure that you are enjoying yourself and has an amazing staff who does the same. Breakfast in the morning is not the same boring Greek traditional breakfast but a feast! The rooms though... wonderful!They were great 20 years ago but have since been updated. 5 min walk from the diplopia. The pool is quaint and the property makes you feel like you are in your own personal heaven. you can walk anywere from there while also feeling secluded. I love love love this place!

The Athenian friend who recommended this hotel said: "...you will love it!" And she was absolutely right! I would say that I first fell in love with the hotel, and then with the fabulous island of Spetses. This little piece of heaven with its beautifully calming and welcoming energy quickly enveloped us and provided us with the serene and grounding respite from our long and excitement-filled travels. Our plans for island-hopping adventures quickly vanished in favor of relaxing days by the pool, feeling totally at peace, and knowing that we could just walk the 30 something steps from the hotel to the sea at any given moment. The peaceful strolls to the center of town, or to the beach, or to try new restaurants, the bike rides and moped touring of the island were more than enough to convince us to lengthen our original planned stay from 4 days to 9 days...an easy and rewarding decision. Christianna picked us up at the port and was always willing and available to ensure that our stay was pleasant and comfortable, for which we will always be grateful. The personnel in general made it very easy for us to stay, the breakfast was AMAZING, and their quick recommendations for places to eat and beaches to visit were always on point. On those evenings when we didn't care to go out, Christianna would call out our food orders, and we would enjoy our dinner under the amber lights in the covered patio. We had the rare privilege to see some of the other rooms, as most guests had already checked out, and every room we saw was better than the previous. We will surely return to Spetses and to Kastro hotel. Thank you Christianna, Apostolis, Maria, Petalouda and Elona, for making our stay delightful and unforgettable. See you next year!
