Недооцененный памятник истории. При посещении имейте удобную обувь для хайкинга. Посещение с маленькими детьми лпамно и сложно. Очень жаль видеть, как погибает озеро Дистос, которое загрязняют агрокультурные хозяйства и цементный завод. Сам холм, где находятся древние руины акрополя и стена средневековой башни был когда-то островом, окруженным озером. Фантастичнские виды. Место силы! Incredible place! Megalithic walls and gates built from huge multi-ton stones are simply impressive and resemble Mycenaean masonry. An underrated piece of history. Please wear comfortable hiking shoes when visiting. Visiting with young children is daunting and difficult. It's a pity to see how Lake Distos is dying, which is polluted by agricultural enterprises and a cement plant. The hill itself, where the ancient ruins of the acropolis and the wall of the medieval tower are located, was once an island surrounded by a lake. Fantastic views. Place of power!
