★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Δυστυχώς το καταφύγιο είναι εγκατελειμένο κι έχει αρχίσει και φθείρεται όλο και περισσότερο. Υπάρχουν δυο τρόποι να το προσεγγίσει κάποιος. Ο ένας είναι από το δασικό δρόμο που ξεκινάει από το χώρο στάθμευσης του χιονοδρομικού, κάνει τον κύκλο της κορυφής Αυγό και φτάνει δυτικά του καταφυγίου. Ο δεύτερος είναι μέσα από την πίστα του χιονοδρομικού κέντρου όπου βρίσκεται στα ανατολικά του. Η θέα από το σημείο που βρίσκεται το καταφύγιο είναι πολύ ωραία κι επίσης από εκεί περνάει το πεζοπορικό μονοπάτι για τον Αρίσταρχο, τις κορυφές και τη Στύγα όταν η προσέγγιση σε αυτή είναι από πάνω.
Unfortunately, the shelter is abandoned and has begun to deteriorate. There are two ways to approach this. One is from the forest road that starts from the ski parking lot, crosses the Egg peak and reaches the western end of the refuge. The second is through the ski slope to the east. The view from the point where the refuge is located is very nice and also there is the hiking trail for Aristarchus, the peaks and the Stigma when approaching from above.
