The view of this taverna is excellent and it is very close to the main road. The food was very good, especially the vegetarian dishes. We would love to return here anytime! ❤️

Recommendation from - - Irini apartmenthouse - - Chef Adonis, the restaurant - - Katsaroles Taverne - - which was in easy walking distance. Directly tried times. We were welcomed as if we were regular guests for years. The map was presented to us by the Chef himself. Each menu course was excellent, the dishes tasted different in itself culinary, prepared with love and finesse. A great start and the top address for our further stay here in Crete. Recommended are in particular the dishes named after Mama's traditional Greek dishes. Thank you for the wonderful evening in your great restaurant ?

I gave them an idea for a drink which they said they'd name after me ?. Good fun and very welcoming place and people. The photos don't do the food enough justice. You need to go try for yourself. We ordered a kalitsounia (spinach and local cheese pie), stuffed vines and courgette flowers, boureki (potatoes, zucchini and cheese) and imam baldi (the most tastiest aubergine, cheese, herbs and tomato based dish) and baklava for dessert. Everything was delicious! All dishes were vegetarian (they have meat also), but you wouldn't miss meat as the flavors spoke for themselves. Highly recommend and worth a visit. We'll definitely be back! ???️

We arrived in time for sunset surrounded by an assortment of plants that really complement the restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions generous. My girlfriend ordered pork steak and there was enough for two, but she managed ok with just a little help! Very reasonable prices and friendly staff. A real hidden gem.

Wide choice of grill, vegetarian an local food. 200% honest recommendation. Mr. Stavros, the owner is extremely kind and treating all the guests like VIP‘s. We had a pleasure to spend our anniversary in this amazing place, and it was a one of a kind experience.
