Very lovely place. The staff was awesome. Irene in particular was a fantastic conversationalist, and a native English speaker. As a visiting American, this was super cool. Thanks!

Nothing fancy, but so good!!! This is a little slice of heaven without all the bells and whistles. The staff is incredible, they made us feel at home. Thank you Kavos Bay for making our stay perfect!

Wow. The experience I had at this hotel was just amazing! We got there the second weekend in June, 2017 and stayed about 6 nights. It was just before the season and we had the hotel all to ourselves! Ms. Irene and Ms. Flower took such good care of us! The family owned and operated establishment is situated on a cliff just above the bay to the village of Aegina Marina. You can walk to the village. It's quite rocky, but I managed with both tennis shoes or flip flops. I never felt afraid at night, but if you walk at night, carry a flashlight because the path is through the forest! Ms. Irene will transport you to and from the village, too--just ask! We walked the path down the cliff from the hotel to the ocean and snorkeled every day we were there except one because of rain. But the shower did not last long, and we were able to enjoy exploring other things across the island then. One day while snorkeling, we saw a huge octopus just below the hotel! There is a temple on the island and many other things to sight see. But, we were more focused on the snorkeling and simply enjoying the laid back atmosphere of the village. We rented a four wheeler which was so much fun to have for several days. We rode into the village on it and we also explored another nearby lagoon where there were three uninhabited houses...so we had a lovely swim and snorkel without anyone around! We were served a WONDERFUL breakfast every morning, both hot and cold foods. The view from our balcony (front corner room) was just amazing, and the breakfast area was also very lovely. Ms. Irene told us that she would be glad to make us dinner for a small price if we asked, but we wanted to explore the village at night, so we didn't take her up on her offer. However, we did have a few beers on her patio and we visited with her and Ms. Flower and got to know them both. Lovely ladies! Not pushy, not nosy, but very welcoming and accommodating! This is NOT a luxury hotel. But, the welcoming attitude of the owner/operators makes up for most of that. If you are looking for a nice, clean and very affordable eco-friendly vacation, you couldn't ask for a better place that Kavos Bay Seafront Hotel. We WILL BE BACK!

51 mins · George Mendel recommends Kavos Bay Seafront Hotel Aegina Island Greece. 2 hrs · 29.08.218 -05.09.2018 Keeping our good habits, we spent the fourth consecutive vacation in the island of Aegina more precisely in the resort of Agia Marina. We came back again to Kavos Bay Seafront Hotel, the loveliest hotel we ever been at. The hotel is managed by Krassas family. We were warmly received upon arrival as usual. Treated us like family for the days we were there (8 days) and were willing to help us out with anything if we needed beginning with info about surroundings up to printing out our boarding cards for our return flight home.Customer service industry is really lacking in so many places but not here. These lovely persons were exactly like family for us. The hotel is situated some 2 km from the resort center. The road to the place goes through a fantastic and romantic pine forest. We usually rent a car or a quad bike to enjoy the way up to the hotel especially at night in the stars .However, the hotel provides transfer on request from the resort center at fixed hours until 10 pm. The hotel has a special position above some cliffs some 20 meters from the seashore. There are more than 16 rooms all of them with amazing sea view. Each room have its private balcony with a table and two chairs separated from neighbors' balconies. If you wake up early enough you will have the chance to see fishing boats fishing your lunch or dinner from one of the many restaurants in the resort. The rooms are lovely and big enough to accommodate a couple or more. Very clean and simple with a nice fridge (not minibar) you can keep your bottles of drinks and some groceries. The staff is daily cleaning up and changing towels and linens. The bathroom is not big but well enough for any common sense visitor. The bathroom is freshly renovated newly refurbished with all the appliances, sink , taps and toilet. Maybe a hook to hang the shower head will be welcomed. The lobby and dining space are situated below the entry level where are situated the rooms. There is also a big and beautiful covered terrace and also a superb balcony/platform above a fantastic private cove, i called "my private boulder beach". In the lobby man can find a bunch of books in different languages as well as some toys for families with children. The breakfast is continental type very tasty including ham, salami, cheese,Greek calves, butter, gem, honey, eggs in different forms, and pastry. You can have your orange juice, tea, and or filter/espresso coffee. In one word simple and homey. Actually I'd say this hotel it's the best on the island. We are already planning our next vacation there and really are dreaming about the opportunity to live in a place like this.
