Αγορεύτηκε Διδάκτωρ του Πανεπιστηµίου Ιωαννίνων στην Ιατρική Σχολή το 1994, όπου εκπόνησε την διδακτορική του διατριβή στις νεοπλασίες του τραχήλου της µήτρας.

They never pushed a situation unless they were certain about what exactly to do, how and when. They treated us with a proper blend of human touch and professionalism. Everyone - from Prof. Athanassiou to the midwives, to the administrative staff and especially Miss Tzenou (until meeting her, we couldn't believe that she is just one person, as she has answered all our questions - E-Mail or phone extremely fast, thank you so much for that again) have been very professional and kind. They listened to us. The communication and care for me as their patient, has by far exceeded the experience I have made in other fertility clinics in Europe. The clinic itself is modern, very clean and in a nice neighbourhood.

I followed his advise and did an operation in my uterus in May 2019, and got pregnant in July! He was with me for all my pregnancy and birth, answered my phone calls no matter how late, was patient with my questions and problems. I believe that he is not only a good fertility expert and great gynecologist but also a person with humanity and kindness. I can thank him enough!

I honestly can not thank everyone at the clinic enough for making our dreams come true. Every communication and face to face appointment we had we were made to feel comfortable and I always felt so much hope. Dr. Athanasiou is an amazing Doctor and always did what was best for us and wanted the same outcome as we did, which was a completely different experience to what we had in the UK. His kindness and compassion always came through. I feel very blessed and thankful to the amazing staff. I am now nearly 10 weeks pregnant with twins. We can not thank the clinic enough. A special thanks to Konstantina, she is a incredible human who is there to talk to throughout ( again a completely differed experience to what we had here in the UK, we never spoke to the same person twice!) I am still under the clinics care today and it continues to be first class. We for sure have left a piece of our hearts in Athens. Thank you.
