★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed there for 2 nights, and loved the hospitality and friendly atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, though there was a quite some rattling and noise the first night due to a storm. The breakfast was incredible, with lots of different cookies and pastries, pies, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, all made especially for us since we were the only guests! Besides that, yiayia Katerina made us amazing stuffed peppers and chickpeas for lunch and we loved sitting by the fire at night spending time with her. The location is great for hiking (though some of the river crossings on the hike up the gorge were challenging due to recent rains) and not too far from the Phaestos Minoan Palace. All in all we loved our stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful place to stay, rooms have great views. Best breakfast with pastries made whilst you are sitting. Definitely a place to stay if you want to experience real Greek hospitality. You may want to brush up on your Greek.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came in for a breakfast in Summer 2019. Delicious traditional cretan home made breakfast. The hostess and her granddaughter were very friendly and helpful. We were allowed to see the rooms, which were spacious and clean, everything is done in a traditional style. Great for those, who would like to experience a traditional local and family run guest house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent two nights at Keramos and it was awesome. The best breakfast in all of Crete, ingredients sourced from organic farms nearby, home made dishes, delicious and healthy. The beds were very comfortable, spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The family were very helpful and friendly, Eleni, Kyrgio Georgos, everybody wonderful. A true authentic Greek experience.
