★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The winery is a little out of the way. If you feel you are lost you are probably almost there. Also, Google maps gives you a short and long way. Take the long! The short looks like. Goat path. When you arrive you will find friendly Cretans and good wine. I post the picture of the one I liked most. They are priced fairly and comes with history and some stories if you are up for the conversation. You can also tour their facility. Highly recommend as a stop between Heraklion and the west side

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very wonderful wines. The tour was informative but not rushed. The view from the vineyard was spectacular. My favorite wine was The Great Hawk being aromatic, food friendly, balanced fruit with a butter finish. This was not an easy wine to pull off being entirely fermented and aged in stainless steel. Yes I can say they were all fantastic.
