★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came across Kourkoulou while looking for something to do near Rethymno. It ended up being a highlight of our trip. We didn't have a booking but the guide was very welcoming and we joined a wine tasting. We then had a short tour of the vineyard and winery. It was a really enjoyable experience and our guide was so knowledgeable. It's a shame they don't export to Ireland yet but we bought some wine back with us. The winery is also very close to a Taverna which was a nice place to stop for lunch after. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here while vacationing in Crete with my family. Absolutely loved this place! The tour was very informative about the wine making process, especially one in a family owned winery. The views and landscape surrounding the vineyard are gorgeous and te perfect place to take pictures. The wine was delicious and we learned different techniques in how taste wine that I will 100% will be using in the future to act like I know about wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited in coronavirus times. Great, great place to visit. New winery (three years old). Tour is very well set up. Even saw the bottling process including labeling, which we haven’t seen before. Really affordable pricing. Nice building. Great staff. The interior is nice as well. Wine tasting also accompanied with very deep knowledge of the wine and they really take you along. It was really the most thorough one we had on Crete, and we’ve done five. Parking easy in front (you can drive up from the main road).

Went impulsively to this small, young, family driven winery and was met by the kindest people. My boyfriend and I had the most pleasant wine tour followed by a delicious wine tasting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was probably one of the most memorable experiences we had in Crete. After a long day, we stopped in around the time that they were closing. It was just two of us, and Xenia gave us the most informative wine tasting experience. She taught us how to taste wine properly and helped us along when it came to searching for flavors and aromas, along with sharing the history and fun facts behind the wine origins. She even stayed and chatted with us almost an hour after they closed! We learned so much, got extra pours and even had the best olive oil we had ever tried. Will definitely be recommending this to anyone who visits Crete, and 100% will try to come back.
