★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh, what a place! Kochyli restaurant is in my opinion the best restaurant in Nea Plagia. Let me expand on this:
1. Food is amazing. Fresh fruits and vegetables are being used and served, the food is cooked just the right amount of time. Seafood is fresh and they know how to clean it and cook it.
2. Location. The restaurant is 30 m from the beach and it is situated in a nicely taken-care-of garden with tall trees. Just beautiful!
3. Owner and staff - It is a family restaurant and they are deeply engaged in the everyday business working as hosts/hostesses, bartenders, waiters/waitresses. The rest of the staff is extremely positive and polite, taking amazing care of each guest.
This is why to me Kochyli is the best place to eat in Nea Plagia.

Having in mind that the portions are very generous (huge), the prices are really good. The food is fresh and tasteful. The house wine is not that great, but neither are other greek wines, beers or liquors. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I could give this restaurant a hundred stars ⭐️ by far my favorite Greek taverna, in and out of Greece!!! It was love at first sight! :-) Our server Panagiotis was SO nice, helpful and kind! The food was so incredibly delicious!! The portions were so generous! The whole atmosphere blew me away ? Ioannis, the cook, has created the perfect Greek cuisine with a modern twist! I can definitely say, that I will be coming back. We were there two nights in a row and it was not enough!!
