“Love Kokalas Resort , our 4. time there...” After 4 visits to Kokalas Resort, it is truly a home away from home. Nikos, Rula, Frank, Eleni and family couldn't be friendlier or more welcoming. All their staff makes great effort to keep their guests satisfied. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. Food was great as always. At night we could hear the waves rolling at the beach when we relaxed on the balcony...nice and quiet. always vacant sunbeds around the pool. :-) The apartments are a short walk from the centre of Georgioupolis, with its great choice of Taverna's and bar/cafés and the long sandy beach. We rented jet-ski's a couple of times...great fun. Georgioupolis is ideally placed for day trips by bus to both Chania and Rethymno (the bus stop is 10mins walk from the apartments). Lake Kournas is well worth a visit , the hotel can call for a taxi. (we use Markus taxi , he is always a happy guy who speaks well english.) Lovely Family Hotel Nikos,Rula,Yanni,and Frank are fantastic hosts.Ideal location to Beach , restaurants,and small village.Food is very good at the Hotel and the rooms are clean and spacious.A must is the weekly BBQ !! Can't wait to go back .

Such a beautiful hotel with greatly decorated rooms! A big pool and most importantly,right next to the see! Friendly staff! Totally recommend !!

It was amazing the owners and staff were lovely and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, the pool was clean and inviting, the whole experience of my stay was wonderful I have already booked to go back next year thank you to Rula and the team for a great holiday.

We had a very great stay at Kokalas Resort. From the start everything was perfect. We were welcomed with a cake and a homemade honey ouzo. The owners of the Resort are extremely friendly, helpful and warm-hearted. They did not only clean our room every day but also our dishes. At our last day we even got extra towels and a shower, so that we could take a shower prior to our flight. The owners really took care of everything and are always available for questions. The BBQ and dance evening with a free meal and impressions of the cretan culture, which is held every Thursday, is also a real highlight and a lot of fun. The rooms are quite big and furnished with everything needed. The equipment is not always modern, but always in a good shape and completely sufficient. We had a balcony with seaview which was great. The air-condition work perfectly and really cooled down the room despite having more than 40 degree the whole week. The pool is extremely clean and quite big. In addition there are plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The location of the Resort is perfect. It's a 1 minute walk to the ver nice beach. At the beach there are some sunbeds and beach bars, but it's still not too touristy and the water is cristal clear. It's only a 5 minute walk to the lovely center of Georgioupolis, where you'll find lots of restaurants, bars, shops and the harbor. So the location is quite, but still in direct distance to the more busy places. We will definitely come back here again for our next trips to Crete and highly recommend it to everyone one!

Myself and my teenage daughter took a last minute trip to this beautiful part of the world, we spoke to Rula by phone, who is one of the lovely family that run the Resort, she has perfect English. She organized a taxi from the airport for us (€55) which is the standard rate. When we arrived it was a Thursday night and their weekly bar b que was in full swing with all the guests enjoying good food, music and dance. We were given a free welcome drink and afterwards we were shown our lovely room. everything was spotless, comfortable and towels were changed regularly. The pool was also spotless as was the whole resort. The family who run the resort are friendly, helpful and always there to help if it is needed. Its close to the beach and restaurants. Their restaurant is lovely and serves beautiful food. The value is excellent and the atmosphere in the resort is always friendly. We had a perfect night sleep every night with air con and there was always hot water when we needed it. I have been to Georgioupoli many times and love this beautiful place, its got a village atmosphere and although I have seen many more Hotels appearing on the landscape, its still lovely, with crystal clear waters and great Cretan food at good prices. What makes it so special are the people , they are so friendly. Perfect!! We will be back

Very friendly with a lovely Café looking over the Pool the breakfast was fantastic price value unbeatable would visit again.
