This place is wonderful. We loved visiting. It is so peaceful and serene. About 30 minutes from Heraklion, we easily got a taxi here. It cost us €12/adult and free for kids. The guide and owner are both lovely and welcoming making the tour really informative and interesting. We loved tasting the olive oils. Definitely bring a little extra money for the gift shop! Loved it ? thanks so much.

If you like olive oil or simply want to find out more about it you must visit Koronekes! We had such a lovely time, Kiara gave us an exceptional tour of the mill, production and general information about olive oil. Contact them via email or phone for reservations in advance and simply enjoy. Kiara, thank you again! P.S. The tasting wheel is already in action!

Such an inspirational and instructive visit. Giorgio and Kiara are passionate about their work and take great pride in everything they do, from producing excellent olive oil to teaching the visitors how to best differentiate the qualities of the different olive oils you may find in the market. We learned so much during our visit!! Thank you. Koronekes’ olive trees are hundreds of years old and still in full production. Their processing facilites are impecable and their olive oil is superior. I work with farmers in Spain and was truly impressed by Koronekes. It is more than an organic farm, it is a true a Regenerative Farm. Their soils are well cared for and protected with green cover, which is important to capture carbon and mitigate climate change. They take great care of their biodiversity, offering refuge for varios wild birds and other animals. Giorgio recovers any injured animal found in the vicinity and returns it back to nature. Besides oil degustation, they also offer cooking classes and do activities with families, providing a great service not only to visitors, but also to their local community. Koronekes is the kind of family business we should all be supporting. I am sure you will not regret visiting them.

First of all I’d highly recommend a visit - such a great experience with the loveliest, friendliest, most knowledgeable people! Also worth pointing out that they’re a family business which produces organic and regionally protected olive oils. We booked a tour/tasing with them and learned everything from cultivation of the trees to the storage of the final olive oil - after that we got to taste the different stages of the extraction process as well as some further regional specialties, which were all very delicious. Whilst you’re there - take a look around, the location also offers great views into the countryside with endless rows of olive trees. There they also have a lovely little shop where they offer all of their homemade products - here you can also find regional specialties such as herbs, artichokes, raisins, vinegars and fruit syrups. All in all an amazing experience!

We had a great tour, Kiara and her husband are very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the process of making olive oil and take us through a very practical tasting exercise. The oil is very tasy and the guides are very nice and friendly! Highly recommend a visit!

We had the tour and the tasting at Koronekes farm and it was wonderful! The tour was very interesting and you can not only find out a lot about their production, but also about the olive oil industry itself. Which I find very interesting as it shows what makes Koronekes farm so special. When visiting I highly recommend to book the tour because I think it is very nice to understand how the flavours within the olive oils are created. And if you're there without a tour: you should definitely get the "Fleur d'huile"!
