Τόσο το Υπολιμεναρχείο Πορτοχελίου, όσο και το Λιμεναρχείο Σπετσών εμφανίζονται μόνο κατά τον κατάπλου και απόπλου του ferryboat. Τόσο στο δρομολογούμενο επιβατικό, όσο και στα θαλάσσια ταξί δεν γίνεται κανένας έλεγχος. Υπόψη ότι για τη μετακίνηση από Κόστα προς Σπέτσες και αντίστροφα, απαιτείται Πιστοποιητικό εμβολιασμού ή επίσημα δηλωμένο rapid test. No security measures, no compliance with covid protocols. Όλο το χρόνο υπάρχουν 4 καθημερινά δρομολόγια με μικρό φέρυ ανοιχτού τύπου το οποίο δέχεται οχήματα που διαθέτουν κάρτα εισόδου στις Σπέτσες (στο νησί επιτρέπονται οχήματα μόνο για είσοδο - έξοδο σε αυτό σε όσους διαθέτουν κατοικία, όχι στους περιστασιακούς επισκέπτες/τουρίστες). Επίσης από Μάρτιο μέχρι Οκτώβριο μπαίνουν και δρομολόγια μικρού ταχύπλοου σκάφους που δεν δέχεται οχήματα, με μεταβλητή συχνότητα ανά χρονική περίοδο (πιο λίγα στην αρχή και στο τέλος σεζόν, αρκετά τους θερινούς μήνες). Υπάρχουν τέλος και θαλάσσια ταξί όλο το χρόνο. Σαν υποδομές δε λέει τίποτα ιδιαίτερο, έγινε μια προσπάθεια νοικοκυρέματος το 2018 όπου πραγματοποιηθήκαν κάποιες ασφαλτοστρώσεις/τσιμεντοστρώσεις κι απομακρύνθηκαν παράνομα παρκαρισμένα οχήματα από το χώρο του λιμανιού, ωστόσο σε ότι αφορά το δρόμο που οδηγεί στο λιμάνι, από τη μία μείωσαν το πλάτος του δημιουργώντας πεζοδρόμια κι από την άλλη συνεχίζουν να επιτρέπουν να παρκάρουν παράνομα οχήματα στις άκρες του δρόμου, με συνέπεια σε πολλά σημεία να μη χωράνε 2 οχήματα που κινούνται αντίθετα, λόγω των παράνομα παρκαρισμένων. Τέλος να γνωρίζετε ότι λόγω διαμόρφωσης/κατεύθυνσης του λιμανιού, υπάρχει θέμα όταν πνέουν μέτριοι προς ισχυροί νότιοι ή νοτιοδυτικοί άνεμοι (πάνω από 4 μποφόρ) και τα δρομολόγια του φέρυ μποτ διακόπτονται.
