J	Jean-Paul Kassis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this island by cruise starting from athene port .... it took about one hour to reach hydra .... after we continued to poros and Aegina .... the cruise was forca complete day including lunch and tgree visits .... was fantastic .... there is also a program on the cruise .... concerning Hydra .... the entry was fantastic with a panoramic view .... Very nice island .... no cars on the island .... to many donkeys .... and everything is done using donkeys .... also many nice restaurants .... i recommend all the trip .... Regards ....

Transportation is done by bicycle, on foot and by water taxi. At the port of Hydra you will find supermarkets, pharmacies, ATMs and a hospital. From Hydra you can easily do island hopping in the Saronic Gulf, as there are direct routes to the nearby islands! Hydra is connected by ferry to the ports of Spetses, Aegina, Poros and Piraeus. During the summer months the traffic covers the capacity of the port.
