★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fabulous place! Kostas really welcomes you with open arms, so so nice to talk to. His homemade yoghurt with honey is superb! Really worth a visit, the views are spectacular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner picked me up with his truck while I was climbing with my bike on the way to Kastro.He saved me a looong way that road.Then he took me to his tavern,the most beautiful tavern that I have seen for real!!Thank you sir I will come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kostas is one of the most nicest people that we've met in our vacation. His tavern is very beautiful! The place is full of history, pieces of Kosta's life and local history. We had the pleasure to meet also Kostas's family and we saw a beautiful and strong relationship between them. This man is like a lesson in life, must go through it. I strongly recommend this historical place called Kastro and Kostas Tavern to have your lesson learned in life. Thank you for all, Kostas!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's in the mountain village of Kastro. Felt like Scotland. They said they get snowed in in the winter. We are here in June. Thassos is the northernmost Greek island. We just had lemonade with honey, but the food looked good. No pix of the taverna - just the village

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place has only authentic Greek cuisine, a few dishes but everything was very yummy. The owner is very nice, came to our table with different puzzle games for us to play around and solve. So was a bit of lunch and entertainment mixed together ? Very good prices and quite an unusual menu.
