★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The views are amazing. The people are gorgeous and their stories are worth listening to. The Mastica is worth the money.
The food is okish though ..I had the zucchini fritters and they were great, not the best I have had though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, fantastic taverna, great fresh food. Warm, nice and funny owners. Very good local products made by them. The pine honey is fantastic, that’s why you must try the yoghurt with honey or with sour cherry jam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The perfect atmosphere for those who want something other than the beach / sea. Very welcoming and nice owners as well as Ben, the family dog :). I recommend the yogurt with honey, it is very tasty as well as the lemonade with honey.

The location is something... different. Like a lost, uninhabited village, that surprises you when you expect less... with it's hospitality!
Food is very good, fresh and tasty, not fancy, but extremely delicious.
The hosts are warm and very communicative. Would definitely go back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The oldest village on Thassos Island, founded about 1250 year. There is still only one family living there for good. They have a little but very pleasant and calm tavern that offers a traditional greek dishes. Very kind and helpfull stuff that willa tell You shortly the story about the village. Absolutely worth to visit when beeing in Kastro village.
