★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a beautiful meal here tonight. The restaurant is fabulous , very traditional and shows the love and care the owners have put into it. All of it was very good and great value. Lovely ambience and great staff. A must if you are in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by for lunch on Monday. We walked around the outside but it appeared to be closed. Beautiful outdoor seating area covered by trees with a lovely cool breeze.
Not sure if the opening hours are up to date, possible affected by Covid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good traditional cretan food but a big downside : the are letting people smoke in the premises and no checking on covid vaccinations wich are both illegal. Very dark inside and overloaded with old stuff every where. Not to sure about all the experience!!! The food was OK and the service was good but you have a lot of places in Crete where you are getting that without anyone smoking around. I don't think I will go back there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is definitely one of the places to visit while being in Heraklion's area. The food was amazing and at an affordable price. The inside is very well and traditionally decorated. Didn't feel like a tourist trap. You can go there eyes closed !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best meals we had in Greece. The mixed meats plate was delicious and portions huge. Greek salad was amazing also. Incredibly hospitable staff also. They treated us very well and even treated us to some Raki at the end of our meal. This authentic rustic restaurant was a real treat and break from many of the crowded touristy locations elsewhere.
