Koutsounari Traditional Cottages - Epar.Od. Agiou Ioanni

I visited Eoanna’s Traditional Cottages from New York and have only good things to say. The cottages are set in a small village and made of ancient greek architecture overlooking the ocean. We had stunning views right from our private roof terrace. Each cottage is slightly different, and there are less than ten, so there is a lot of privacy and peace and quiet. The cottages have great top-of-the-line amenities (like a Nespresso coffee maker), a small kitchen, living room, and bed room, perfect for some lone time with a significant other. One thing that really made our stay memorable was Eoanna, our host and owner of the Cottages. Eoanna was so friendly and welcoming, going out of her way to make us feel at home. She had lots of insider tips of things to do and helping with restaurant reservations. The Cottages are set in a small village Kousunari, a five minute walk from the beach and within walking distance to an abundance of great restaurants. The south of Crete was also a great choice for us, since it was far less touristy than the north. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Very stylish, yet traditional cottages with the best mattresses for sleep after a long day at the beach. Peaceful surroundings, nature in all it's glory. Each cottage has it's own personality, style, and story. Pricing is value for money and charm.

A nice and relaxing place with an authentic old cretan atmosphere. My girlfriend forgot one precious ring there and they phoned us to tell us they found it to her great relief! I definitely recommend warmly this place for a relaxing stay on the south east coast!!!

An amazing experience for Easter but certainly also for the summer! Very tastefully refurbished and comfortable traditional cottages, great location, great view, excellent service! Close to the sea, you can combine relaxation with excursions to nearby beautiful beaches and villages! The home made orange marmalade was out of this world!!! This is the fourth time here and still discovering new experiences. Definitely will be back!!

We really enjoyed our stay here at one of the cottages. The owner was very helpful and friendly in every situation and with every question we had. From recommendations for restaurants and beaches to information about other beautiful destinations here in the area. Everything was super clean, we had rooms service and it was lovely furnished. All in all, we can highly recommend this accommodation!
