★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and homey. Very tasty breakfast. Shower is clean but needs some renovation. They make very good preserved fruits and jams, of which they give some as a gift.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Winning combination of cosy, traditional accommodation and one of the best restaurants in Pelion - all in an unrivalled location beneath the majestic plane trees on the village square. Portaria’s facilities seem more comprehensive than many of the other villages on the peninsula, so this hotel makes a perfect base. First breakfast was exceptional in terms of food taste and presentation, and service; different kitchen and FoH team on the second and third days couldn’t quite match it. Minor niggle, though. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is simply perfect, in the very centre of Portaria. The rooms are really nice decorated in an ancient lovely style. When we arrived we got a small present: tsipouro and chocolate. The biggest experience was the breakfast: everything fresh, a big variety of salty and sweet dishes. Every day I ate breakfast and then skip the lunch, cause I was really full of delicious food. The staff is INCREDIBLE. A FIVE STAR REVIEW WITHOUT ANY DOUBT.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is very tasty and the cheese dishes were fantastic--definitely try their cheese pie. The meat was nicely roasted and the wine tasty too. It's not so expensive for a fine dining village restaurant so we were very satisfied with the prices too! It's a must destination when you visit Mt Pelion!

The restaurant was amazing, very nice atmosphere, very delicious food and fresh,fast service and fair prices. We've tried some other places to eat but this was our favorite. I highly recommend it.
