★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A real gem on Sifnos. Picture-pretty village with characteristic stone alleys for leisurely walks. It can be your base as the nicest beaches are only 10-15 minutes away. The spirit of cyclades at its best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Artemon Hotel is a small hotel (25 rooms) ran by a family. It is at the entrance of Artemonas and only 10 minutes walking from Apollonia where you will find many places to eat and shop. The facilities are basic but comfort is good, the place is very clean and it's excellent value for money. The owner is also very friendly. Excellent situation as a starting point to several trekking trails of the island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a lovely time at Artemon Hotel. The hotel is very close to Artemonas, you can go on foot in 1 minute, it has the best restaurant of the island with genuine homemade traditional food. Breakfast is just amazing. Rooms are confortable, quiet and clean. The owner and his wife are very nice persons always available to give tips on the island and to accomodate every need. I do hope to be back!
