G	Giovanni Madaro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lampesis is just the BEST restaurant of Sifnos, which is an outstanding achievement since the island has a long gastronomic tradition and is full of restaurants and tavernas serving good food. The restaurant is family-run and when you go there you do feel part of the family too since everybody is kind, funny and inclusive All food is delicious, home made and comes from the family's farm. And prices are more than fair, sometimes I would suggest to increase prices since quality is so high! Authentic to the bone, this place is where I look forward to come back throughout all the year.

I did not appreciate though the fact that some tables were offered watermelon while some others not (guess in what group our table belonged to :D ) It is good to keep the practice of offering a treat when giving the bill :)

The service was great as well, they accomodated us with an extra table, even though we didn't have a reservation and the restaurant was already full with bigger groups. Amazing roasted pork and very fresh and tasty galaktoboureko (milk pie) for dessert.

Have visited first time 6 years ago with my local hosts (friends from Athens having summer house here) and yesterday - and amazing owner remembered me! Choices of wine were excellent too!

The owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is what you hope for from a traditional restaurant. When we are back on Sifnos we head for Lempesis for sure. You have to try the lamb. It's delicious.
