Good easy bus service although some of the services finish at 230 so make sure you check first .

The online timetable from Google Maps is outdated. We wanted to take the bus, and according to Google Maps there should have been a bus. When we arrived at the station they told us there is no bus available for today.

Very confusing place to try and catch a bus, typical Greek timings. Lady in the ticket office was quite helpful though.

Excellent local bus to drive you to all your favourite places around Argostilion for a few euros. From the beach in Lassi to the airport!

It's just a bus station. Could have been a bit better with instructions as to where the bus you wanted was going to be stopping and that you had to buy your tickets before you boarded. Otherwise it was a very clean and tidy bus station.

Totally unreliable. If the bus comes, it's late. Map on website is like a goofy map so it doesn't show specific locations of bus stops or exact routes and tel. operators also don't know addresses. Waste of time. I really wish they'd improve their service so as to provide a reasonable & environmentally-friendly alternative to rental cars.

Such a shame such a naturally beautiful island forces everyone to drive due to a near non existant bus service. 1 service at crack of drawn towards argostoli and one back in the middle of the day to each of the villages, so it is clearly only for the elderly living in the villages to do their shopping. Beyond that it ran on time But there was confusion as to where to buy a ticket, the bus driver said you had to buy it at the bus station, and the bus station had a very angry man who just yelled at potential customers until they went away "buy on bus, shoo buy on bus"

We used the bus service 5 days out of 7 and found it to be cheap and a great way of getting around the island if you don't want to drive....... as long as you do a little research and work out your timings for getting from one place to another and back. The drivers are all very friendly and very helpful when we asked any questions and always got us where we wanted to be. The timetable is easy to read once you know the time the bus starts the journey is the 1st time then you need to be at your stop waiting at a little after this time and just wait..... the timetable isn't like a UK timetable it is very fluid as they pick regulars / locals up and drop them off along the route and the route to your stop can be different depending on where locals want dropped, we made the journey to the capital 3 times on these buses and got these 2 different ways and came back 3 different ways ? But they always got us back no problem . The bus station at Argostoli has one of the best views on leaving through the front door, it's stunning. Well worth using the buses here, cheap and friendly.
