In the middle of nowhere, but otherwise a sympathetic venue

A pretty place for a wedding. Chairs were a bit uncofortable but it was a beuatiful place!

I came from Chicago for my wedding that was held here. Everything was amazing. The service was incredible. Everyone at the wedding talked about the tasty food, the decorations, the location and the live band. The managers there, Spyros and Katerina, organized everything to perfection and were very friendly. Mr. Martidis was there to oversee our wedding. He went the extra mile to make sure the atmosphere at the wedding was great. We felt Mr. Martidis was not the owner, but a family member at our wedding and I want to personally say thank you for everything he did. I highly recommend looking into Ktima Martidis.

We held our wedding at Ktima Martidi. All the parts of the wedding were held at the venue (the ceremony, the dinner and the party), which was really convenient. The venue is somewhat secluded (so make sure to communicate clearly to your guests what they should put in their navigation; if you use Google Maps it shouldn’t be a problem to get there), but on the other hand this is really nice, because there are no houses nearby, so music can be played without bothering anyone. And also, the venue is situated between hills, which makes for a great view, especially at night, when you can see some village / city lights here and there in the distance. Initially we were also a bit concerned about the summer heat (in July), but we were pleasantly surprised that in the evening it felt a lot cooler than we expected. Like I said, it’s in the hills and there is also a bit of a breeze now and then, so the temperature is quite nice. There is a chapel with quite some room for guests to attend a ceremony (if you don’t bring too many guests). To get there, there is a path that flows with curves through the grass. It looks really great and is especially nice for the entrance of the bride, while everyone is waiting in front of the chapel. The outside part that can be used for the dinner and party is mostly grass with a dance floor made of stone tiles in the center; the tables are placed on the grass around the dancefloor which makes for a nice, cozy layout. The dinner was great as well. A lot of variety of food and also plenty of options for people with different dietary preferences (vegetarian, vegan, allergies, etc.) In general the communication with the people of the venue was really nice. We’re no experts at organizing a wedding, so it was nice that we got suggestions and tips on how to best fill in the details of the wedding. The owner also recommended fireworks (sparkling fountains of 3 - 4 meters high) to use for a beautiful entrance (which I can really recommend at this venue; it fits really nicely with the layout of the venue). So all in all, to the venue I would like to say: Ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ! Μας κάνατε χαρούμενοι :)

Our wedding ceremony, followed by a reception was held at "Ktima Martidi". We planned the event along with Mr. Martidis and his daughter who gave us great advice and were both there on our wedding night to make sure everything run smoothly until the end. The result was a total success. Only a couple of hours into the reception and our guests were already talking about how amazed they were by the natural beauty of the place, the service, the food quality and quantity, the music choices etc. Loved every second of it, thank you!
