★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πρόκειται για ιστορικό κτίριο του Πειραιά. Ανήκε στον Σπύρο Μεταξά (δημιουργό του φημισμένου ποτού) και χρησιμοποιήθηκε ως οικία. Ο Ερνέστος Τσίλλερ ήταν ο αρχιτέκτονας, ο οποίος σχεδίασε το κτίριο. Η κατασκευή έγινε στα τέλη του 19ου αιώνα. Την εποχή εκείνη το κτίριο είχε θέα στη θάλασσα, όμως η ριζική αναδιαμόρφωση του αστικού περίγυρου και η ανέγερση πολυκατοικιών γύρω από το νεοκλασικό οικοδόμημα υποβάθμισαν την ανάδειξη της κατασκευής. Τα γλυπτά που κόσμου την εξωτερική όψη είναι πρωτότυπα και δημιουργήθηκαν για το οικοδόμημα. Στο εσωτερικό υπάρχουν πολλές λεπτομέρειες με σκαλίσματα και τοιχογραφίες. Το κτίριο έχει αλλάξει ιδιοκτήτες. Τώρα ανήκει σε ιδιωτική εταιρεία. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι για κάποιο χρονικό διάστημα διέμεινε στο κτίριο ο Γιάννης Τσαρούχης (ζωγράφος).
 This is a historic building of Piraeus. It belonged to Spyros Metaxas (creator of the famous drink) and was used as a home. Ernest Ziller was the architect who designed the building. It was built in the late 19th century. At that time the building had a sea view, but the radical redevelopment of the urban surroundings and the construction of apartment buildings around the neoclassical building deteriorated the construction. The sculptures that look exterior are original and created for the building. The interior has many details with carvings and frescoes. The building has changed owners. It now belongs to a private company. It is worth noting that Yiannis Tsarouchis (painter) stayed in the building for some time.
