★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auf Bourtzi, der grünen Halbinsel, befindet sich das Kulturzentrum der Gemeinde Skiathos, dass das ganze Jahr, insbesondere jedoch während der Sommermonate, Kulturveranstaltungen beherbergt. Auf den Ruinen der venezianischen Festung Agios Georgios, die 1207 errichtet wurde, war erst die alte Grundschule, eine Schenkung von Andreas Syngros, und heute das Städtische Kulturzentrum untergebracht. Der Eintritt in des kleine Museum beträgt im Mai 2018 – 2 Euro
 The cultural center of the municipality of Skiathos is located on Bourtzi, the green peninsula, and hosts cultural events all year round, but especially during the summer months. On the ruins of the Venetian fortress Agios Georgios, which was built in 1207, was only the old primary school, a gift from Andreas Syngros, and today the city's cultural center.
