K	Kasper Villemoes Hald on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With all the positive reviews this place had expectations was semi high. The food was okay and staff was nice. Not very many traditional Greek dishes and a bit pricey ? we shared two "dip collections" and a Greek salad as appetizers, and two medium "grilled meat mix", which was more than enough to leave the table with full stomachs. We were told that there was fries included in meat mix which was correct but ~10 fries isn't much for a plate that is supposed to be shared by 2/3 people.

All the staff are incredibly friendly and lovely. Having worked in hospitality for 20 years, one thing I love is to be recognised and remembered by staff, fantastic customer service.. The food and cocktails are delicious and very reasonable too. Couldn’t fault it and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Good food at very good prices. And great cocktails too And the must in Platanias, there is a parking! We spent almost every day of our stay there and we recommend this place.

We fell in love with the place immediately! The service is fantastic, the food amazing and the view so beautiful. Everything to good prices. They also have sunbeds so you could stay here for the whole day and both enjoy the food and the sun & sea. We will definitely come back to Crete and of course to Kyano. //Sofia & Ida

Very tasty reasonable priced and helpful friendly staff throughly recommend view of sunset and on the beach was lovely setting throughly recommend you visit here!

Highly recommend a very interesting bottle of wine from Anatolikos Vineyards: fermented and aged unfiltered with indigenous yeasts, not the normal commercial stuff you usually get. You can see the residues inside the bottle. It’s called Orange because of the colour. Drink it like what wine was like thousand of years ago. Apricot on the nose, honey, apricot, pineapple and orange peel on the palate. Food is ok, to get honest nothing really stands out, but service is excellent. Great value for money too! It really is a hidden gem! Food 7/10, service 9/10, ambience 8/10, value for money 9/10.

However, the mushroom pasta (which was recommended to me as a vegetarian dish) was so-so. It wasn’t bad, but it felt like something you’d order from a fast food place. My boyfriend ordered a traditional meat pie which was a bit more pricy, and he wasn’t too pleased with that either.
