Best value for money!! Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the sausages and beef steak! A truly traditional tavern!!

Ths animated, friendly owner clearly loves what he does which is help guests select the perfect piece of meat! This authentic taverna was filled with locals, including an older couple who guzzled wine while reading the paper and several large families. I cannot wait to go back!

One of my favourites traditional Cretan taverns in Chania. The portions are huge and the food is amazing. If you ever visit it please order the cretan salad, potatoes and sausages. The owner is a lovely guy.

Not sure if it was the owner but a man came over our table speaking barely any English and we ended up having a delicious feast for cheap. Awesome experience.

Surely one of the best places to eat in all of Chania!! The owner is incredibly nice and welcoming, you can see he loves meat himself, as much as he loves to serve it! The restaurant has been serving delicious meat since 1953. Steaks are great and the price is really really honest, the homemade crisps are a must try. I cannot even say what was better: the hospitality, the food or to see so many pictures of the Great Eleftherios Venizelos! ??❤️??❤️??❤️??❤️??❤️??

The owner is a good guy and obviously takes pride in his meat which you will chose from the meat locker..... We picked his sausage and lamb chops which were delicious considering how late in the season it was ( the best we had that week) ..very good Greek salad too...My only complaint is the house wine which we would not drink. The bottled cabernet was a little better but not much.... My suggestion: Get some bottles of the good stuff and winos like me will be happy to pay.....
