★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant may be on Chania's ouskirts but it's really worth to visit. Moussaka was absolutely amazing, we ordered it two times! They also have a variety of local cuisine with goat meat well prepared and astonishingly delicious. I strongly recommend you visiting this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice place with great food. The menu is loaded with meat dishes, and many of them look quite traditional. We had several of the house specialties: lamb, goat, pork, which were all slow-cooked and very tasty. The service was excellent: efficient, attentive, and super friendly. Reasonable prices, too. Also, we spotted many locals eating there, which tells you something about a place, no? I recommend it, for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After discovering To Dichalo we couldn’t dare try anywhere else in Chania. The food is amazing, enormous portions, fresh and such incredibly value for money. Georgos, the owner, and all his staff always so present and suggesting different plates every day. The meat is amazing, mountain goat and lamb, pork like you have never tasted anywhere. They did antikristo lamb only once and only when they had found the right meat, unlike any tourist trap around. And you just feel so part of the family that you can’t avoid planning your next trip to Crete around this restaurant

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent local Cretan dishes. Best grilled meats ever and their cabbage, walnut fig salad is amazing as is their Greek salad. Huge portions! Fabulous staff and atmosphere on a Sunday is great- full of locals enjoying excellent food.
