★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their fig and cheese salad is soooo damn good. So are the zucchini fritters, so are the mushrooms, and the greens, and the saganaki and its all very well priced. The fried cheese in pastry with the honey (saganaki? Can't remember the name) is also damn amazing. It's all veyy reasonably priced and the wine is cheap too. Was great and good vibe in the whole square for an evening meal

But after coming 8 times in the last 30 days they "thanked" me by wanting to force me to change the table I chose to one not on the sunny side, because I was alone and sitting at a table for four persons. Which I was doing all the other 8 times with no problem. Mind you the place was far from full and I calmly explained all this to the manager, but he insisted, so I went away and won't be coming back. I don't want such behavior in Kypseli, it is strange to the neighborhood and should be treated accordingly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a sweltering Athenian evening, K was beautifully located under the mulberry trees of a cute old world piazza buzzing with new world energy, diverse menu suited perfectly to the occasion. Interesting range of dishes esp. veggie - dark lentil tabbouleh stands out. Grills ok but nothing special. Service amiable but struggled a bit to cope.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the top option for Agiou Georgiou Square in Kypseli. There is a healthy variety of dishes and the food is good (also, the main's portions are towards the gigantic side. The service is somewhat slow and confused especially during peak hours. To be on the safe side, a reservation is in order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for lunch today and I wasn’t sure what to try so I got the Pork Medallions in Honey Sauce. Definitely a new flavour I’d never tried before but it was very yummy! The mushrooms were on the saltier side but it still went well with the meat. Lovely waitress was also very polite and cheery :) Side note: their menus are made of leather-like material or something :o
