Best Hotel in Greece

J	Julie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Sophia, who works at the front desk, was SO HELPFUL that made me consider going to Zakynthos to live there full time, just because now I know that all greeks are amazing. The hotel is right in front of a calm beach that you can spend the day or go somewhere else - by boat, to Navagio. By car, maybe to Xigia. Breakfast was superb and our room was perfect. Bathroom is a bit small, so if you're tall or big, be aware. That was not a problem for us, as we didn't spend much time at the hotel. They offered a free tour to Navagio and the Blue Caves, and right by the hotel we had dinner at a restaurant by the same owner (La Storia), which offers discounts if you're staying at La Grotta. I can't wait to go back to Zakynthos, and I can't wait to stay again at La Grotta.. Negative: Nothing. PERFECT PLACE..

Moussaka was cold and amateur-like, the chicken breast was undercooked and staff seems to be floating in space, not receptive to customers’ needs or requests. Under no circumstance I would recommend this to anyone.

We told him we were only parking for 5 minutes and he didnt object but when we came back he basically started yelling at us on the street that he doesn't care what we were doing he told us to move. Great way to sour the start of a boat trip. He should be fired. Why work in hospitality if you so obviously don't like people. Rudest person we met in Greece by far.
I	Inês on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The view from our room was beautiful overlooking the bay. It had limited breakfast choices but they were great nonetheless. One of the most positive points of this hotel is that the boat trip to navagio beach and the blue caves is included so be sure not to miss it.. Negative: The bathroom was is need of an update. It’s located in an area of the island that still seems a bit underdeveloped for tourists so it takes at least an hour to get to most areas of interest..
M	Meghan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Great location, in the middle of the tiny harbour-town Agios Nikolaos. Convenient if you catch the ferry from here to Kefalonia. The hotel itself is neat enough. We got a room with a view on the harbour with a huge balcony.. with sunbeds. The bed was comfortable. The host was not in any hurry to get paid right away. They provide a free boatride to shipwreck & blue caves .. even if you stay one night.. Negative: The bathroom felt a little outdated. Water leaked even if you firmly closed the tap. No way to shower without holding the showerhead. Refrigerator on the small side. The restaurant underneath serves nice food but makes you pay for bread that you didn't order. They made us think it was free. The free boatride feels like it was included in the booking price.. but with a good reduction on the normal price..
