We were glad to get helpful travel tips, also during our trip. Once we needed roadside assistance (our fault) and the team organised everything for our help immediately. Can only recommend travelling Crete with one of their campers!

The vw bus is has everything you need included to enjoy the trip and Crete is simply ideal for camping. Dimos and Anna were very helpful. Especially when our first trip ended early due to lock down in november.

Demos picked us up from the bus station and gave us excellent advice about where to go to get maximum use of the 4x4 roof tent. He collected the vehicle from our hotel. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

D	Daniel Moore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The team at Lazy Snail are awesome, we were picked up in town by Dimos and taken to their office where we had a full tour of the car, how to use the roof tent, etc and given endless incredible recommendations of places to go and things to see from Dimos. We hired the Suzuki Vitara with rooftent for 5 days and it was great, we only wish we had more time to explore! Communication from Anna leading up to our rental was fantastic. All in all an excellent small business run by some awesome like-minded adventurous folks!!

About the car : We rented the Nissan Navara for five days with my boyfriend in September, and had the best time driving across the Island (from beaches, to gorges, to mountains, to cities...). The car is really easy to drive and even if it is quite large, we were able to go everywhere with the 4x4 mode. The car is perfectly equipped with sheets and pillows, cooking tools, table and chairs, solar shower, 20L of water.. The tent is also really comfortable, even for my boyfriend who is 1.90m tall (the tent is 2m long). It is really easy to set up (less than 5 minutes). About Lazy snail team : From the booking phase to the end of our trip, they were very helpful and patient with us. They kindly gave us a ride on the first day from Heraklion Centre to the parking lot where the Nissan was parked and did the same on the last day. They also gave us tips to go at the best places during our trip. This trip was unforgivable thanks of them. I'll recommend 100% !
