★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we booked a room for our first night after getting married in Kefalonia. I'm local and wanted to stay somewhere in the village we got married but we were really disappointed.
the breakfast was disgusting (cold, stale and greasy) and the air con in our room didn't work well. we paid a considerable amount of money for a suite with breakfast and for the amount of money we paid, we could have stayed in a decent hotel in London!
on checking out, we weren't asked how our stay was, we were just asked about paying up, and so we mentioned our concerns but only received an awkward apology
sadly I don't recommend ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were given a first-floor room, which we weren't aware of at the time. It had plenty of concrete, which added to the hotel's "industrial style" flair. Not like the pretty website photos, though. The staff were friendly enough and the common space was airy. But we had a rat visitor, and though we convinced him to leave our room by leaving a snack outside the patio door, it wasn't exactly a restful night. The hotel staff didn't seem fazed when we told them about it. Luckily we had amazing company in each other, and it was thus a fantastic vacation. The island itself is so very lovely.

The boss as well as all his staff are extreme kindness and professionalism worthy of the biggest hotels. I highly recommend the Leivatho Hotel with its superb rooms great pool and so close to Avithos Beach if you prefer salted water ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel and lovely staff. We spent our summer holidays there. The room was very nice, there was a kitchenette available. We still went for dinner at the restaurant. That was lovely. Air conditioning in the room was quite noisy so we did not use it. A bit of shadow at the child pool would be great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet place to relax, beach within 4 minutes walking distance, friendly staff and warm owner. Great choice if you want to avoid crowded all inclusive huge hotels.
Rooms are clean, spacious and cosy.
I will definitely come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very close to Avithos beach. Nice view, even landing airplanes is visible (but no noise)
Liked that in the pool they have kids area. And also liked the playground - big help for parents to relax
To reach the hotel you will need a taxi or a rental-car, it's rather far (20 mins) from bus stop.
Comfortable for families with kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is lovely, in a great location close to a beach with 2 restaurants. The staff are amazing -- Maria & Giannis, thank you so much!! The room we stayed in had a lovely sea view, was spacious with a big bathroom. The pool area & bar is lovely too -- I highly recommend the cretan pasta on the evening menu!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, tranquil hotel set in gorgeous gardens.
Our room was spacious with a huge, comfortable bed and all the facilities you'd hope for. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly made orange juice served to you every morning is a nice touch. The pool is lovely, with comfy beds and a stunning view out to sea. All the staff were super accomodating, friendly and helpful.
Couldn't ask for more, definitely great value for money.
