★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect apartment right in the heart of beautiful Kioni! We were welcomed by Gerti and her family who were so helpful and answered all our questions about how to spend our week in Kioni.
The Apartment is very clean (they were kind enough to clean half way through and replace our beach towels) We particularly loved the two big terraces with views up into the green, cypress tree covered hills around the bay of Kioni. Waking up and opening the wooden green shutters to that view was unbeatable.
You can walk to the little beaches lining the bay or head up and over the hill to a quieter beach called Mavrona. We enjoyed our days at the furthest beach along in Kioni, which has a lovely taverna serving amazing fresh fish. (25 min walk from the apartment) Kioni village is very relaxed - perfect combination of just the right amount of restaurants, a bakery, shop and a few nice bars.
Gerti's partner also rents boats and bikes and we had an unforgettable day ont exploring the most beautiful beaches ever which are only accessible by boat up in the north.
