Unique university, a large relaxing garden with grass and palm trees for us students to catch some sun in those days of spring.

can non-students of this institution use the library or is it only allowed for students?

The exams start in about a week and they haven't even provided any schedules of which exams are to come first. Worst thing is rumors are that this is happening possibly because the person who is in charge is out on holidays or even sick. This is unacceptable ? how can a University function this way. Shame on the Management.

This university is one of the best around in Greece, renown for it's field of European and International Studies. It's mainly a political science university, as it only has faculties in Social and Political sciences. It's known amongst students for it's fountain, library and red colored walls.

Compared to other Greek public universities, Panteion campus is the most beautiful one. The fountain at the front entrance, surrounded by palm trees and grass, gives this place a different vibe. Inside, the buildings are clean and not filled with posters of student political parties (which is the case in most Greek unis). In general Student political parties are not very active on campus which is a good thing since, of course politics and other related subjects are very welcomed in universities, especially one which specializes in political sciences, but political parties have no place in a university and the Student Body should not be represented by political parties but by student groups that best serve the students' interest and best embody the student voice. Classrooms are always warm in the winter and also very esthetically pleasing with red bricks covering the walls. The campus is also surrounded by cafeterias which make the place more vibrant and filled with students. The library is big and modern and has a good studying climate! As a university I think it has some exceptional professors as well as some unique undergraduate programs such as the Regional and Economic Development Department, School of Economy and Public Administration. The University offers tutoring classes which is very helpful for courses that include math and need plenty of exercises. At the same time what I find important and attention worthy is that most classes do not exceed the 100 ppl (in Greek unis classes may reach the 300)and so a lot of the professors are trying to keep some names. Thus if you actively participate in class you will be recognized by both your peers and your professors.
