The port of Souda is located in the homonymous bay and is the main port of Chania. It is at about six kilometers from the city center, connected by frequent itineraries of public and intercity buses.

Ideal for travelling, taking your car with you but also meeting a friend for coffee or refreshments at one of the many cafes accross the road and watch the world going around....I love travelling from there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice port and especially beautiful sea. Everything is easy to find as well as there is plenty of free parking if you need it. Around you also fine some private charter companies that can take you for a day trip besides of the ferry business. If you have the choice, I'd recommend for a sail or trip during sunset to watch the light break and moon shine which is perfect in the bay.
