Unfortunately it might be open only in the late evening and that's because it is maintained and offered to the public as a result of a privately-funded effort. The personnel is eager to offer an excellent tour (even in English) and to give tourist tips about the surrounding area. We felt very welcomed, and the entrance fee is definitely worth it (2 euros per adult). The collection items are interesting while the descriptions and history behind them are touching. We wish the museum its best and hopefully to be expanded.

J	Joni Gritzner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good museum! We where guided by a seaman that was on the ships for many years and learned a lot from him about the history of Greece and the Marine history. The exhibit is wonderful and interesting with over a 1000 items about everything that you need to know on a ship from all times. Some are models of ancient historical ships and some are equipment from all times that you can see on a ship. The price was only 2 euro and we spent there over an hour so it was very reasonable. Ask for guidance by Iannis and you will not regret. I have learned a lot from Iannis and it is super recommended. Enjoy your tour ?
